Christine, sorry it took me so long to post this! Hopefully you haven't needed it yet.

Wedge Toe

Knit foot to 1 1/2" short of needed length.

Row 1: Knit all
Row 2: N1:: Knit to last three stitches, k2tog, k1; N2:: k1, ssk, knit to end; N3:: Knit to last three stitches, k2tog, k1; N4:: k1, ssk, knit to end

Repeat rows 1 and 2 until 8 stitches remain. For a flatter toe, stop with 16 stitches remaining.

Kitchener toe and weave in ends.

Hopefully this helps. Let me know how it works!

Cotton/bamboo sock yarn that also contains elastic thread is not a good choice for this pattern; it stretches and distorts. That's now been ripped out and I'm winding up my Dream in Color Smooshy in Deep Seaflower. I like the fact that not only is it blue, but it has a bit of a weathered look it, just like our favorite TARDIS.

Believe me, I screwed up more than a few cables on this. But I found a link to a Yarn Harlot article on how to re-twist cables. I hope this helps!

After reflection and passing the sock around the scarlettgirl and mydeira, the biggest comment has been that there's too much room in the toe box with the round toe that I used. I may swap this out for a wedge toe instead, so if anyone wants to try it that way, please go ahead and let me know. If you need directions, let me know and I'll write them up.
